Using IPods In the Classroom

Would it be possible for our students to create and view video podcasts to learn scientific concepts and vocabulary? Vocab and concepts could be pulled directly from the state and curriculum standards. This would give our students an opportunity to apply scientific knowledge in a fun and creative way! It would also be a good opportunity for students to learn from each other by posting these podcasts to the web. Anyway, just a thought. What do you think?

I think it would be a faster way to do your studying. You can even take it a step further and have a podcast discussion the next day. If you area last minute "kind-a-guy" you can watch the podcast on the way to school.

Great comments! From the sound of things it looks like everyone is in favor of posting podcasts or video casts. Later in the year you will have an opportunity to create your own videos. If anyone is interested we could post these to the blog or to our wiki. In the meantime, keep up the comments and don't forget about the wiki.
