Class Wiki

I have sent out invitations to everyone who supplied me with an email address. As a reminder please make sure you create a username that consists of your first initial followed by your last name (no spaces). I must be able to identify you from your username. If you do not abide by this request I will remove you from the space as soon as possible. Please remember that you are to edit these pages in good taste. Do not add any kind of content that is not appropriate. Please keep in mind this is for school purposes! I hope everyone can follow the rules and have fun in the process. Good luck!

Using IPods In the Classroom

Would it be possible for our students to create and view video podcasts to learn scientific concepts and vocabulary? Vocab and concepts could be pulled directly from the state and curriculum standards. This would give our students an opportunity to apply scientific knowledge in a fun and creative way! It would also be a good opportunity for students to learn from each other by posting these podcasts to the web. Anyway, just a thought. What do you think?

Collaborative Online Mind Mapping

Want a great way to collaborate on a project or homework online. I have recently found out about Mind Mapping thanks to Weglogg-ed. Mind Meister is a way to create mind maps and you can also collaborate with friends at the same time. This would be a great way to organize class notes or to brainstorm ideas for a project.
